Welcome to my website, it has become my new form of art, one of those pieces that are never finished, always changing. I apologize for any grammar or spelling mistakes you find. 10 years ago my reading was very poor, my writing was not legible. In my 40’s I found Listening Therapy, my life began to change, to the point that I could paint these paintings, & built this website, all on my own. I hope you enjoy it, please come back often. You never know what you may learn!

There is a first time for everything, & you never know what you can do until you try. I had never painted big, outside, or in front of  people before, it was such a great experience. I talked to so many interesting people!

This was my first water color painting,  It was part of the  Art Focus Haritage project. The paintings were also made into a set of 4 greeting cards. The  16x 20 painting was donated to The Port Coquitlam Heritage Society, and is hanging at their location at the Outlet at  Leigh Square, Community center.   http://pocoheritage.org/

Every  month  Port Coquitlam's City hall gives  Art Focus Art Club  the opportunity to hang 2 local artiest works in there lobby. Then 3 pieces are  chosen  to be hung in the  Mayors  office for the  following  month.
What a great way to share local talent.
Thank-You    Mayor Moore.

I was unable to paint or draw before I did “Auditory Training” (sound therapy) it changed how I  perceive information.
I am now able to draw & paint what I see. There would be No Kali's Art, if I had not done an auditory traing program.

I Believe  Kali's Art is possible because I went through an“Auditory TrainingProgram” (sound therapy)  changed how I proses the information that comes from my ears to my brain. I was using the left ear dominant; the sound would travel from my left ear to the right side of my brain. Watch is the emotional, feeling, creativity, side of  our drains, not the word side, it would take a few seconds for the information to get to the left side of the the word side, where it can be deciphered properly. This delay can be longer for different people. We are all unique!
This delay changed everything for me; I was ADD with an audio processing disorder, by strengthening my ear musicals, & more so the, right ear musicals, the sound was then picked up strongest by the right ear, sends the message directly to the left side of my brain, where it can be processed properly. It helped my reading, spelling, organization skills, it also increased my confidence.
I was one of 35 Art Focus artists involved in this mosaic project &I was lucky to have my painting featured on the invitation.
